Sweet Adelines International is a worldwide organization of women singers
comitted to advancing the musical art form of barber shop harmony through education and performance.
The National Association for Music Education. Their mission is to advance
music education as a profession and to ensure that every child in America has access to a balanced, sequential, high-quality education that includes music
as a core subject of study.
Founded in 1959, the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) is a
nonprofit music-education organization whose central purpose is to promote excellence in choral music through performance, composition, publication,
research, and teaching. In addition, ACDA strives through arts advocacy to elevate choral music's position in American society.
The
Contemporary A Cappella Society is a non-profit organization formed
in 1990 to foster and promote a cappella music of all styles. Members
include thousands of fans and vocalists as well as professional, collegiate and
recreational a cappella groups from around the world.
